Technology transfer at #UniLodz
Technology Transfer Office (CTT) of the University of Lodz is a university-wide unit, the role of which is to manage innovations in the scientific community, connect science with business and public sphere institutions, both on a national and international scale. It is one of the first such units in Poland. It was created in December 2003 as part of the American-Polish "offset" programme.
Technology Transfer Office of the University of Lodz also conducts educational and training activities, supports and funds research and advisory projects. The Office has participated in:

- we identify innovative solutions emerging at the University of Lodz and analyse the potential of research results reported by researchers
- we analyse the market in terms of commercialisation of research conducted at the University of Lodz
- we comprehensively support in the field of formal and legal protection of research results and intellectual property in the form of inventions, works, utility models and patents,
- we provide advice on obtaining funding for R&D works
- we coordinate commercialisation processes (creating commercialisation plans, assistance in finding business partners, negotiating, preparing and supervising the marketing and legal side of the commercialisation process)
- we promote entrepreneurship among academic staff and students of the University of Lodz
- we implement good practices and indicate modern trends in innovation management
